Join us on Feb. 28th, 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. for the opening reception of RVA Clay Invitational and 4 new exhibits.
Enjoy live music by the Virginia Opera,refreshments and libations.
This year, the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts (NCECA) is holding their 54th annual conference, and it will be in Richmond. VCU and the Visual Arts Center are the host organizations for the conference to be held at the Richmond Convention Center, March 25th – 28th. Ceramic artists from all over the country, have been invited to exhibit in galleries throughout Richmond. The theme is MULTIVALENT: Clay, Mindfulness, and Memory. At Art Works, RVA Clay is curating an exhibit of ceramic artists in the main gallery.
The exhibits continue through March 21, 2020. This event is free and open to the public.
