Art Works is hosting an exhibit for the Governor’s second annual Flood Awareness week. Flood Awareness week is March 8-14, 2020. The exhibit will feature photography of flooding and high-water conditions locally, within Virginia and nationally. Images may be of the actual water conditions (river, streams, streets) and/or damages caused by high-water and/or flooding. The Department of Conservation and Recreation will present a flood model table in the gallery on opening night.
We are asking photographers to submit entries for this exhibit. It is open to all artists.
Enter up to 2 images into this 2020 Flood Awareness Exhibit (photography entries ONLY). Entries are currently being accepted through February 21, 2020. Submit your images via the digital entry form. (See Link below). Email and in-person entries will not be accepted. There is no entry fee. Images must be of the flood conditions and high-water of any kind as well as damages and disasters caused by water.
