“My art is a place for me to explore all the dark and lovely things in life that coincide with that which we are often led to fear or avoid.—Mortality, our smallness in the universe, and our choices that impact how the natural world flourishes or recedes around us. In recent years, I was introduced to fairy tales as a way to explore the so called Shadow Self in writing about one’s own life. I have since been inspired to carry that over to my artwork, to create and explore my own inner world, where all things manifest together within a dreamlike environment.”
