Anne Chamblin presents Navigate, a colorful collection of layered paintings, along with the August All Media Show.
Join us August 27 from 6–8 p.m. The reception is free and open to the public.
The art center is open Tuesday through Sunday 11 am – 5 pm and it’s free and open to the public. Enjoy the exhibits and have lunch in Manchester RVA.

Painting by Ambrose Hernandez Godoy
Navigate by Anne Chamblin
In Navigate, Anne Chamblin’s colorful, often whimsical paintings invite viewers into a world where places, figures, memories, and feelings overlap. Through layers of paint and an intuitive approach, Chamblin creates work that suggests the paths we take through experience and the traces that remain along the way.
The exhibit will be in the Centre Gallery at Art Works through September 18, 2027.
Woodland Walk by Kathleen Tyree
In Woodland Walk, fiber artist Kathleen Tyree transforms wool through the ancient process of wet felting, creating sculptural forms and wall hangings inspired by nature. Blending wool with silk, paper, bamboo, and other fibers, she creates rich textures and organic forms—from botanical wall pieces to geological sculptures and vessels that blur the line between function and art.
The exhibit will be in the Corner Gallery at Art Works through September 18, 2027.
August 2027 All Media Show
Each month Art Works invites artists to submit their work in an open call-for-entries. These exhibits are a focal point of all Art Works’ openings. There is no theme for this exhibit—so anything goes, any topic and any medium. This is a juried show with cash prizes. This exhibit will be in the Skylight Gallery at Art Works through August 26, 2027
Check our website to learn about submitting your artwork to the exhibit.
