Submit your artwork in our juried All Media Shows. It’s easy with our digital submission form. Fill out the form and upload an image of your artwork. We take it from there and will let you know if the artwork is accepted in the exhibit. You can submit up to 3 pieces of artwork, any style, any medium. You pay a small entry fee. For each show, we use a different juror (a curator, professor of art, professional artist). Artwork that can be delivered to the art center for display will be hung in one of our galleries. For out-of-town or entries and entries from other countries that are accepted, these will be exhibited online, virtually. Check our calendar for more details about these shows and the process.
The All Media Gallery Shows are juried art shows. Artwork is accepted from any artist on any subject matter.
Anything goes! This includes two and three dimensional works including but not limited to: paintings, drawings, photography, sculpture, pottery, glass work, collage, metal, stone and jewelry. You get the picture!
The show is judged by art professionals. Art professors, directors, curators and practicing artists are among the many people who jury the shows.
The All Media Gallery Shows are held on the 4th Friday of the month. Most every month an All Media Show is held. There are some exceptions, so please check our calendar.
Yes. The cash awards are 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place. Sometimes we present a photography award when there are a lot of photography entries. This is up to the juror’s discretion.
Call for entries are held on the first two weeks of the month. Please refer to our calendar. You submit your entries online. If accepted, we will notify you and will arrange for a day and time for you to bring your artwork to the gallery. If you live out of town, your accepted artwork will be part of a virtual, digital exhibit.
Yes, the entry fee for each piece of work is $10 for non-gallery members and $7 for gallery members. This is non-refundable. We use this money to pay the prizes, juror and put on the shows. See benefits of being an ART WORKS All Media Gallery Member, below.
The reception begins at 6:00 p.m. on the 4th Friday of the month. The gallery awards and talk is usually held at 6:30 p.m.
The opening and reception is a big party with refreshments and live music. The juror awards the prizes and speaks to the guests and artists about the show, entries accepted and not accepted. These talks are informative and encouraging to those who were accepted and also those whose work was not accepted. It’s a great time for guests to meet the artists.
Once the artwork is juried, we will send you an email with a list of the accepted entries. You can check this list and determine which, if any, of your pieces were accepted.
We are very diligent about making sure you get your email. If you don’t get a notice from us, check your spam folder as sometimes email get put there. If you have any questions, give us a call.
Art Works will notify you and the artwork will remain in the gallery until the end of the show. The buyer will pick up the work at this time. You will receive payment on the 15th of the month following the sale date.
Yes, we charge a 35% commission on all sold pieces. Please price your work accordingly.
Sorry but all artwork needs to be for sale.
Paintings that are on canvas and wrapped around the edges are acceptable unframed. The edges must be clean, and be sure no staples show. All other work needs to be framed (i.e. no work that is matted only). Be sure to have hanging wires on your artwork. Any work that is not presented appropriately may be disqualified from the exhibit.
We have pedestals for this type of artwork.
Artwork is displayed until the end of the show. Please check our calendar. Anything that is sold remains in the show until the end of the show at which time the buyer will pick up the piece or we will ship the artwork to the buyer.

No. Work previously accepted in an All Media Show may not be submitted again. However, work previously submitted but not accepted into a show, may be submitted again.
The gallery takes every precaution to protect entries from damage and loss; however the work is not insured by the art center.

- For members who do not have a website of their own, we offer the opportunity to have an Art Works web page for only $50/yr.
- Silver and Gold members receive the above benefits and are also invited to a VIP gathering on our 4th Friday openings. We provide complimentary champagne and hors d’oeuvres and introduce the new solo show artists.
- Gold memberships also receive a 10% discount on any gallery sales.
