Submit your artwork in our juried All Media Shows. Bring up to 3 pieces of artwork, any style, any medium to Art Works on the 3rd Friday and Saturday of the month, pay a small entry fee and fill out some paperwork. The juror (a curator, professor of art, professional artist) will pick the pieces to be in the show and the shows open on 4th Fridays. There are cash awards. Jurors are:

Note: You can park on Hull Street in front of Art Works to drop off your artwork. Spaces have been reserved for you on Friday and Saturday.
The All Media Gallery Shows are monthly, juried art shows. Artwork is accepted from any artists on any subject matter.
Anything goes! This includes two and three dimensional works including but not limited to: paintings, drawings, photography, sculpture, pottery, glass work, collage, metal, stone and jewelry. You get the picture!
The show is judged by art professionals. Art professors, directors, curators and practicing artists are among the many people who jury the shows.
The All Media Gallery Shows are held every 4th Friday of each month (except December when no show is scheduled).
Yes. The cash awards are: 1st place $200, 2nd place $100 and 3rd place $50. Sometimes we present a photography award of $50 when there are a lot of photography entries. This is up to the juror’s discretion. Honorable mentions are awarded a gift certificate for a free call-for-entry submission.
Call for entries are held on the 3rd Friday and Saturday of the month of the show. Bring up to 3 pieces to Art Works on these days between the hours of noon and 6:00 p.m.
If you will be out of town on submission days, we can accept work earlier in the week beginning Wednesday (the third week of the month). Bring your work to the sales office and complete the forms and pay the entry fee(s). We are not able to accept work late (after the last day of the call-for-entries). Please bring your work early ONLY as an EXCEPTION to the rule since we have very limited storage space for artwork.
Yes, the entry fee for each piece of work is $10 for non-gallery members and $7 for gallery members. This is non- refundable. We use this money to pay the prizes, juror and put on the shows. See benefits of being an ART WORKS All Media Gallery Member, below.
The reception begins at 7:00 p.m. on the 4th Friday of each month. The gallery awards and talk is held at 7:30 p.m.
The opening and reception is a big party with refreshments and live music. The juror awards the prizes and speaks to the guests and artists about the show, entries accepted and not accepted. These talks are informative and encouraging to those who were accepted and also those whose work was not accepted. It’s a great time for guests to meet the artists.
On Sunday the juror will view all the work and make selections on which pieces will be accepted in the show. Each juror uses varying criteria for selecting work.
You will receive an email or phone call advising you if your work was accepted or not accepted in the show. If you don’t receive your email, check your spam folder. We are very diligent about making sure you get your email but some things we can’t control.
Art Works will notify you and the artwork will remain in the gallery until the end of the show. The buyer will pick up the work at this time. You will receive payment on the 15th of the month following the sale date.
Yes, we charge a 35% commission on all sold pieces. Please price your work accordingly.
Sorry but all artwork needs to be for sale.
Paintings that are on canvas and wrapped around the edges are acceptable unframed. The edges must be clean, and be sure no staples show. All other work needs to be framed (i.e. no work that is matted only). Be sure to have hanging wires on your artwork. Any work that is not presented appropriately may be disqualified from the exhibit.
We have pedestals for this type of artwork.
Artwork is displayed until the end of the show which is the 3rd Friday of the month. Anything that is sold remains in the show until the end of the show at which time the buyer will pick up the piece or we will ship the artwork to the buyer.

Pick up your artwork on the 3rd Friday/Saturday of the month, which is Call For Entries of the next month’s show. You can enter new work and pick up old work at the same time.
No. Work previously accepted in an All Media Show may not be submitted again. However, work previously submitted but not accepted into a show, may be submitted again.
The gallery takes every precaution to protect entries from damage and loss; however the work is not insured by the art center.

- Part of a community of artists that supports the All Media Gallery shows through volunteer work.

- For members who do not have a website of their own we offer the opportunity to have an Art Works web page for only $50/yr.
- Silver and Gold members receive the above benefits and are also invited to a VIP gathering at 6pm prior to our 4th Friday openings. We provide complimentary champagne and hors d’oeuvres, and introduce the new solo show artists.
- Gold memberships also include a commemorative Art Works t-shirt as a ‘thank-you’ for your patronage.
- Complete an application form and pay the annual membership fee:

- Membership runs from September to August.
- Volunteer for at least one activity to support the gallery during the year.
