Mandy Powell is a mixed media artist. Originally from Richmond, Virginia, she holds degrees in Literature, Art, and Early Childhood Education from Virginia Commonwealth University. While teaching elementary school for 23 years in various locations, she pursued her passion for art, completed commissioned murals in Richmond and immersed herself in the fine arts community. Inspired by her experiences abroad in Germany, where she explored renowned museums and historical art, Powell continues to create art, drawing on her diverse background. Currently residing in Manassas, Virginia, she actively participates in the local art scene as a member of the Prince William Art Society.
