Lacy Becton is a painter working in mostly abstract styles.  See her work in her studio at Art Works.  Becton says, “I am an artist simply because that is what I am for better or for worse…it is like being born with a birthmark…it is just there.” Becton has always drawn, always painted, always photographed. Some of her influences are Vincent Willem van Gogh, Pablo Ruiz Picasso, Edvard Munch, Wassily Kandinsky, and Georgia O’Keeffe. Lacy Becton loves individuality, color, emotion, passion, and nature. Painting and drawing, photographing is her way of expressing her appreciation of life.
