“Born in Washington D.C. and raised in rural Fairfax County, Virginia, I grew up surrounded by nature and politics. As a child, I carved little squirrels from acorns with a small knife my dad gave me. I then went on to painting and ultimately obtaining a Sculpture degree. After graduating from VCU, I worked as a studio & location photographer in advertising and multi-media in Richmond.
I have always treasured my time photographing nature, as well as creating & photographing studio sets with small objects to illustrate some of my ideas.”
