EVEN THOUGH MY STUDIO at Artworks opened over 10 years ago, my jewelry making journey started when I was a little girl. I decided that my Barbies needed jewelry, and I had to make it myself because the toy companies didn’t do so at the time.Fast forward past fashion design college and a successful career in corporate America as the president of a national medical company, and you find me at my bench happily making one-of-a-kind jewelry using stunning, colorful gemstones.

LET’S BACK UP A BIT, THOUGH. After finding myself without a job due to corporate mergers, I took the opportunity to pursue my childhood dream. I returned to school to study gemology and jewelry design,earning my credentials from the Gemological Institute of America and the Jewelry Design Institute. I learned a variety of methods used in jewelry fabrication, earned several awards, was published, and today I am pleased to be able to make bright, beautiful gemstone jewelry to be worn and enjoyed by people like me who have a passion for gemstones.

GEMSTONES ARE TRULY MY PASSION. The way they capture the light and project so many colors just makes me happy, and that’s what makes the jewelry I create for you so special. Each stone is hand selected. The color combinations are carefully thought out. Choosing the proper stones is where the process begins, and my goal is to share the joy I feel with you.

ANOTHER REASON I MAKE JEWELRY is to give back. A portion of every sale goes to one of various charities. The charity I’m most passionate about is the Alzheimer’s Foundation. Click hereto find out why this charity is so important to me.
