Virginia Price works in her studio at Art Works in Richmond, VA. She is mainly a self-taught artist working in colored pencil and acrylic. Within her process, especially in the colored pencil pieces, she lays down many layers and layers of color. Although very time-consuming,  it brings out the richness of the colors.  She loves capturing the details and finds a meditative and relaxing rhythm in it.
